Coach Cassie is in her fourth season as an executive director for coaching with Effingham Elite Club Volleyball. Her love for the game started when she was 14 years old and played for her respective high school team at South Effingham as a Mustang. Cassie continues to play local volleyball for recreational league. Knowledge and education of the ever evolving game of volleyball is what Coach Cassie continues to keep up with to instill advanced fundamentals in the players of Effingham Elite.
Cassie states her coaching philosophy is: The game is always changing. To keep up you must first love the game in order to continue growing in the respected sport. Secondly, you must keep about your integrity as a teammate who always shows up with the 150% effort to better not only yourself but your team.
My goals as a coach align with Effingham Elite Club Volleyball when it comes to your character development and individual performance on and off the court.

APRIL Ludwig
12 Regional Coach
April and her husband, Daniel moved to Guyton in 2020. Originally from Georgia, April lived in Colorado for 22 years. She decided it was time to get back down to the south. She now lives in Guyton with her husband and 4 dogs. Besides volleyball, they love to go boating and camping.
This will be April's 3rd year coaching for Effingham Elite. She is continuing her officiating duties and referees Savannah and outskirt area high school games. “I love going to officiate a game and seeing the girls from my team and/or the club playing.”
April has a passion for volleyball and has mentored countless young ladies. My goal is to help players get better technically and raise their volleyball IQ. “I love that moment when one of my players pulls off a play/skill that we have been practicing, in a game, and looks over to you on the bench with a huge smile as if to say "Nailed it"; it makes all the hard work, time and effort put in, worth it.”

TIFFANY Inzer
13 Regional Coach
My name is Tiffany Inzer. I have been married for 10 years and have two children (an 11 year old daughter who plays volleyball and a 6 year old son). I work at South Effingham Elementary as a Paraprofessional. I started playing volleyball in the 5th grade and played through college at Toccoa Falls College. I also played club ball from the age of 10 through my senior year. My key positions throughout playing were Libero and Setter. I have coached middle school volleyball in Savannah for three years and also coached club ball for 2 years. I am currently an Assistant Volleyball Coach at South Effingham High School. My purpose for coaching is to give the talents that I have learned and grew on from a young age and instill them in the lives of others who love the sport of volleyball as much as I do. I train them to grow both in the sport but also train them on how they can take what they have learned and use it also in their everyday lives. I want them to strive for success in all aspects of life including making friendships to last a lifetime. I coach my teams as we are ONE together. As the coach I am a part of the team. I am not myself training others, we are all in this together and work together to better ourselves.

Hello! My name is Brianna King. I am a graduate of Effingham County High School where I played as an outside hitter for my 4 years of high school. I continued my volleyball career at Piedmont University until I graduated in 2022. During this time, I had the opportunity to coach at Lanier Volleyball Club in Atlanta. I coached 3 seasons as a head coach and 1 season as an assistant for 17s, 18s and 15s. Since graduating from Piedmont, I have had the opportunity to coach the 12s team at Effingham Elite. I am also currently in my first year coaching the freshman volleyball team at ECHS. Volleyball has taught me many life lessons, but most importantly it taught me the importance of working as a team. I am excited to help develop these young girls not only on the court, but in life as well!

As a coach I think it is important for me to know who I am and what I want from my teams. Quite simply I want improvement. I want to see my athletes improve in every skill in the game. While winning is fun and is certainly something that we want to do, we will never win at the expense of improvement. Taking the ball over the net on one may be a perfect way to win a match but it will not prepare you to face better opponents nor are you utilizing your team to accomplish a goal.
I have and will always coach for improvement my goal is to have every player improve in every skill. We may have specialized positions at your age group or we may not. I want my athletes to be “on the court”, never let yourself get pigeonholed into a position. The position you want is “ON THE COURT”. Don’t limit your chances to play because you're not an All State passer. Get in the drill and get better. I truly believe that EVERY ball contact is a good contact. If you have a question about some basics to watch for when practicing with your daughter then ask, please!! Send me a video of your daughter practicing at home. If I see something that needs correcting I will send you back some guidance.
Day to day coaching please know that I can be a little extra on the court. You will hear me! However, please know that you will only hear good things. I have a LOT of passion for this game. I love watching players succeed. If you have a question about anything that I am teaching let me know. Just know that if the question turns into a playing time question I will turn off the conversation and we will have to wait the 24 hrs that our player and parent contract requires. It's nothing personal, it's the rules and they exist for a reason. If you or your athlete has a concern about playing time please ask your athlete to bring it to my attention before you get involved. I understand that these are young ladies but I want them to grow into strong athletes that are willing to talk about their own concerns. If they come to me I will suggest areas that I believe need to improve. I will then reach out to you and have the same conversation about your daughter and their improvement.
Please remember that I have been put in this position because of my knowledge and experience. I know a lot about this game but I am also a constant student of the game. In the past I have been Cap 1 Certified with USAV, I have coached highly competitive high school teams, I have refereed high school playoff games, and kept score, libero tracked, and called lines at many local college matches. I know the game, your daughters are going to learn a LOT and we are going to have a lot of fun learning a sport that I love. I hope that by the end of the season I have infected each one of you with a little bit of the passion that I have for this sport. Most importantly you and your family will IMPROVE. My goal is to make Effingham Elite known for improvement. The athletes will improve on the court, the parents will know about the etiquette of the game and the lifestyle lingo that comes with volleyball. You will learn why IHOP only makes the second best pancakes, You will know the difference between rotational and perimeter defense. You will know your daughter's playing zone for each rotation. You as parents didn’t even know you had so much to learn. I’ll teach you about aces, roofs, dinks, roll shots, doughnut holes and so much more. It’s gonna be a blast!!

JENNIFER Ashdown
Assistant Coach
My name is Jennifer Ashdown. I currently live in Rincon, Georgia with my daughter Ansley and dog Nova. I have lived in Georgia for 27 years. I am originally from Advance, Missouri. I work for Effingham County Fire & Rescue and currently hold the rank of Lieutenant, and I have been a fire fighter for 17 years.
My passion for volleyball began when I was in the 7thgrade, so I have over 30 years of experience in the sport. I played high school volleyball where I was named to the All-County Team as well as All Conference Team. I went on to play at the college level at South East Missouri State for a short period of time. I have continued to play on the women’s league at Effingham County Rec Department, and previously played on a co-ed league in Savannah.
I have helped coach girls’ volleyball with the Effingham County Rec department and well as assisted with Southern Slammers club team. Last season, I assisted with Effingham Elite for a few tournaments and camps.
I believe that every athlete is capable of great things. It just takes passion, drive, and dedication to achieve their goals. My job as a coach is to help players see their potential, reach that potential, and crush goals. I very much believe in teamwork and expect the athletes to do the same. In addition to volleyball skills, there are many important attributes that athletes can learn from this sport such as leadership, effective communication, adaptability, goal setting, teamwork and confidence. I am competitive by nature and like to win. However, I believe that the scoreboard doesn’t always tell the whole story. You never really lose, if you learn something. I view coaching the same as first responder/firefighting; it is a selfless service that encompasses putting others first.
